Q: Is this stroller suitable for a newborn?

submitted by emmybills515 - 4 years ago
  • A: I’ve used this since my baby was 4 months. But only for going into a restaurant when she’s going to just be using it for laying down/sitting. I recline the seat and strap her in tight. I wouldn’t want to use it for a long stroller walk with an infant because it’s too flimsy for neck support. Also, there is nothing to keep the baby in except the straps.

submitted byjlar - 4 years ago
  • A: It says 6 months+ or when baby can sit up on their own

submitted byBec - 4 years ago

Q: What is the height restriction on the stroller? My little one is 42"

submitted by courtney - 1 year ago
  • A: Thank you for your question. The maximum height for this item is 43 inches.

Q: Is there an opening/flap at the top of the canopy where you can peak in at the child from behind/above?

submitted by AJ - 3 years ago
  • A: Thank you for your question. The 3Dlite Stroller does not feature a peek-a-boo window on the canopy.

Q: could I use this for my one month old, would it be safe since it reclines and I could use a head supporter I have

submitted by one month old - 3 years ago
  • A: Thank you for your question. The Summer 3Dlite Stroller is recommended for children ages 6 months up to 50 pounds. Summer recommends never to use accessories other than those approved by Summer.

No replacement part for the footrest

Most toddlers step on the footrest to hoist himself onto the seat. 6 months after purchase, the footrest cracked. Called the manufacturer and they do not offer a replacement part. Furthermore, their manufacturer warranty is 90 days. Cup holder also comes off easily and frequently falls off.

Light weight. Durable frame. Tires become an issue later.

I absolutely love the light weight & compact design! I can fold this guy with one hand. ( I've had two of the same model) This stroller has been everywhere, coast to coast. Is a great running through the airport stroller. I dislike that it will flip on a dime, don't ever put anything on the handles for even a second. If baby is at a full recline the storage is not going to be available. The back tires are going to wear out quickly.

Problem with wheels

There is serious problems with wheels after some time. I could not get off the rear wheels , tried many tricks. Not much information available how to remove the rear wheels. This seems to be the design issues. I did not find the genuine rear wheels on the site of this model.

Perfect lightweight stroller for travel or warmer weather. The bottom basket is small but nice to have the extra storage. I bought this for the reclining options for sleeping while on the move, delivers on that promise. Also like the ergonomic handles.

Easy to assemble, and very functional. I appreciate the generous sunshade to protect baby and the adjustable seat, so baby can nap comfortably when needed. Not as sturdy materials as our more expensive stroller, but lightweight and functional - good value for the price. I would recommend.

Easy to fold and unfold (after you get the hang of it the first time); folds to be quite compact; lightweight. Only downside is dinky adult cup holder; very easy to knock it off.

The BEST umbrella stroller ever!

Newmommy - 2 years ago
It’s so much taller than any other umbrella stroller out there. I’m 5’9 and my hubby is 6’3 and it works well for the both of us. It’s easy to collapse and throw in the car with one hand. It’s super lightweight, maneuvers well, reclines back very far, and has storage under the seat and a large pocket in back! I use this more than any of my other 5 strollers

Flimsy and poor quality

Do not really recommend, the only bonus is that it's light and easy to fold. However, after a few uses the tire is jamming and dragging. Was told there is nothing to do about it because warranty is over. Everyone knows you can't use this stroller until baby is older... Be aware, light, but flimsy.

This stroller states its up to 50 lbs but my 2 1/2 year old who is well under 50 lbs cant ride in it because his feet hang down in the wheels causing it to rub on his feet or shoes and making it hard to steer also. He doesnt understand that he has to keep his feet on the foot strap. Also folding it is difficult. Its become garage clutter, unfortunately.

I really want to like it as it is lightweight and just the right size for my height. The only problem is the front wheels, looks like they’re damaged and used.

"Convenience" is right

We put this stroller on our baby registry for our son several years ago (the one we have is bright orange), intending to also get another higher end option at some point when he was older. Over 3 years later, we never did buy another one and are now using the same one for our daughter too. You just cannot beat having a stroller like this that is so ridiculously easy and fast to collapse and pop out and can be wielded with one hand, even for a small mom who is often on her own with the kiddos. I have seen so many friends and strangers struggling with loading and unloading fancy strollers, not to mention getting them through public areas like museums, aquariums, trains, etc. This is compact and maneuverable enough to glide right through tight spaces. My only complaint is that the shade does not do a lot since it does not really extend out or low enough for sun/elements protection, and we broke the cheap plastic that extends it about 2 weeks in.

Steers like a dream! I can even steer with one hand while I open a door with the other. It was a little bigger and taller than I expected. I’m 5’1, so I probably could have gotten away with the “mini” version, but my husband appreciates the height of this one.

Surprisingly this stroller held up very well, better than my more expensive stroller. I’ve had it for four years and used it almost daily with two kids. The wheels have recently started to squeak but that probably is because I’ve used it so much. I’m pregnant with my 4th and will probably buy it again . It’s worth the price. Best light weight stroller I’ve had with all three of my kids.
