Q: Are these processed on shared equipment? My son can have almonds, walnuts and cashews but not peanuts or cross contamination with peanuts. Wondering if the non-peanut ones would be ok for him.

While all of our Nutty Blends are made on the same equipment, we have strict allergen cleaning procedure between each lines to prevent against cross contamination from the other blends to occur. Before each production, the line is cleaned, sanitized and then swabbed for the allergen that was present to ensure that the line is clean. He tried it a few times and just kept making a sour face and said “all done.” The packaging is simple — just twist off the top and squeeze to eat. The ingredients are fair for a pre-packaged/shelf-stable toddler snack, and the texture was decent (a tiny bit on the thicker side). I actually tried this product and I thought it tasted like a sweet, yet tangy, peanut butter. I think if I fed my 20-month-old these more often, he would eventually get used to it as they don’t taste too bad.

The flavor is tasty and my baby enjoys it, which makes snack time so much easier. I also appreciate that it’s organic and made with clean ingredients. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the texture can be a little thick at times, making it harder for my baby to finish. Good balance between banana and peanut butter. Paired with a chocolate rice cake and it was a nice little snack. The peanut butter also keeps it thick. No artificial banana taste.

I tried it from her pouch and it was not bad. Had a genuine banana taste with peanut butter. The only thing I'd say is that it is as naturally sweet as the fruit itself. if you are looking for sweet this isn't for you.
