I moved to the Space Coast of Florida 5 years ago. I’ve tried NUMEROUS sunscreens since moving here. The sun is so much more intense than anywhere else in the U.S. Sun Bum SPF 70 is my go-to. I was hesitant for a while to buy it because it was more expensive than most sunscreens, but it is worth every penny. I am very fair (skin, eyes, hair) and burn easily. After hours at the beach or a day at the water park in the summer, the only places that are sunburnt are the obvious places that I missed while applying the sunscreen. The smell and the texture are also fantastic, and it doesn’t leave you looking like a ghost.

Thick cream that rubs in nicely. There is a bit of a strong smell so I only use this when I don’t mind it (swimming, outdoor activities, vacation, etc). But it’s such a lovely texture that I always come back.

This is like non-sunscreen. I don’t know what it does but it absolutely doesn’t protect your skin from sunburn. I put this on immediately before heading to sit in the sand on Venice Beach. I was out in the sun no longer than an hour. I got fried. I will be returning this as I only used it that once and it’s absolute garbage.

I've heard so many good things about SunBum so I purchased some for this summer season. Yesterday, I applied as directed (and reapplied after 1.5hr) and still ended up sunburnt on my back and shoulders. I thought perhaps it was user error so I applied to my legs while I sat outside reading, but after 30 minutes, they too are starting to burn. Lovely smell, thick application, just doesn't work for me.

I never really use sunscreen but recently decided to start using for my face since it’s always in direct sunlight. I’m on day three and so far I’m loving. My skin is oily and a olive complexion and I ordered SPF 70. I was hesitant at first because the sunscreens that I’ve tried before made my face feel oily that it already was and I have acne prone skin and it would make me break out. I haven’t had a break out yet and doesn’t leave my skin thick and oily feeling. I’m addition it had a really good smell that’s not too overpowering. I would recommend it.
