A: The back side has a satin like feel, and is dark gray in color.

A: The sizes are completely backwards to the ad. I wanted 54 " long, and 40 " long. That would be 63 X 54 and 63 x 40, They are really 63 inches long so I will have to shorten them. The size on the package states 54 x 63, and 40 x 63 - as they are. '

This curtain provides some protection from the sun because it's dark (I ordered the dark blue color), but it's not really opaque so light comes through. If you need a curtain that provides some light protection but isn't really a blackout curtain, this should be a fine option. If you need a curtain to black out the light for sleeping or keeping the house cool in the summer, this is not your best option. Some pros are: the rings at the top help it side easily along a curtain rod, and the blue color is pleasant.

As others have pointed out, these are definitely not blackout curtains, but instead, light filtering curtains. For me, that’s not a big deal because some light getting in isn’t so bad. But it shouldn’t really be advertised as blackout if it’s not actually blackout. The curtains are on the thinner side also. I really like the color I ordered (Denim Blue). I see some people had issues with the color not matching, but the denim blue curtains are actually denim blue.
