Alpha Lipoic Acid 100 mg Does not work
I used to take Alpha Lipoic Acid 100 mg supplement from a different store. There are certain indicators (urine) that supposed to happen while this supplement is taken. Did not happen with Swanson's version. I took exactly the same dose/potency (based on the label) as before. Makes me think about other supplements I got from Swanson.

I purchased this for Stomach acids and found it caused me more harm than good. It gave me heart burn and I tried it several times but had to give up on it. Thanks but not this time.

be careful lipoic acid can irritate mouth
Don't chew capsule. Don't hold it in mouth long enough for the gelatine capsule to dissolve. Rather swallow it with a good gulp of water.

I tried this product because the Swanson Ultra ALA was on back order and I didn't want to wait. This product seems to be the same but just diluted with more excipients. I prefer the Swanson Ultra 300mg.
