Healthy vision

It's the best, but it needs to be taken with @ least 40 mg of Lutein. I'm, 73 years old and still have 20/20 vision. And I've been with Swanson since 1969.

Good Combination!
This combination of astaxanthin and zeaxanthin (8 mg total) is a good antioxidant for eyes, heart, immunity, inflammation, and lifespan. Swanson doesn't say if this supplement comes from natural sources or is synthetic.

Eye health
I do believe this medication does help prevent macular degeneration. The drusen in my husband's eyes have not gotten any larger. He also takes Zinc, Copper, and Vitamin E for his eyes. He has taken these supplements for many years.
