Off-putting odor an taste in a normally odorless and powerful supplement
I have a complaint about a bottle of quercetin capsules that I ordered recently. I've happily used this supplement from Swanson for years but this was the first time it ever had an objectionably strong odor and a taste that seemed really fishy---like it had been cross-contaminated or packaged in an area containing fish oils. This was quercetin 475 mg/ 60 caps/ Lot A 251618 , exp. date 8/24 .

I use many supplements and vitamins from Swansons. I purchased this product and tried it. Before long I suffered joint, muscle & back pain. It ruined my sleep and I developed a cough. I researched further as it looks like the reaction to losartan are greater than what is written, at least in my case. I stopped taking it and my symptoms dissipated in 48 hours.

Subpar ingredients
Unfortunately, this product is made from synthetic quercetain. The dihydrate form is man-made, not natural, and is not as readily absorbable. On top of that, it has magnesium stearate which Swansons continues to add to their products. PLEASE stop that Swansons!

Helps hay fever
I take it year round and it minimizes by allergies. During pollen season I take 2 if needed. I wouldn't want to be without it Works best with Bromelain.

Effective & Natural Self Care
It seems to be working in that I have NOT had any respiratory infections. And it has been identified by "real" doctors to be one of the building blocks of a bullet proof immune system. Past that, it assures me that I am doing something that has been proven to work.

Swanson Quercetin is a great product. It does not upset my stomach and are easy to swallow.
I take tablets daily. One in the morning and one before bed. I do believe that added to my other supplements like Vitamin C and D, they are boosting my immune system and helping to correct inflammation of n my body.

I'm hoping...
I have given it the highest rating because I know that Swanson only sells high quality supplements. Having said that, I must admit that I don't really know whether this product is up to snuff. I have ordered it because I have heard that, together with zinc, it helps fight covid-19 and I have yet to find out whether that is true.

In my research to find a homeopathic that will help assist me to protect my lungs from invasion of the chinabug (or any other bug for that matter), Quercetin came up. It is hard to describe whether anything has actually improved since there was nothing wrong in the first place. I am in my mid 70s, in very good health, even after open heart surgery 2 years ago. I work out 5 days a week minimally, with 2-3 miles of treadmill walking, weights and bands, stretching, etc. I also changed my diet habits prior to my surgery that keeps my good and bad cholesterol where they should be, stopped eating most junk fast foods, keep sweets to a limit, do not drink alcohol or smoke. I only use certain pathics for keeping my systems in top notch working shape, and so I don’t take this particular pathic everyday…. Perhaps once or twice a week. I also take lip0-vitamin C (for better cellular absorption and longer cellular wall protection), D3 2-3K units 3Xs weekly, and an assortment of other items.
