I use this to satisfy my chocolate cravings. It keeps me from eating chocolate. Sprinkling it in my oatmeal or coffee adds the mocha taste.

I bought this product when Swanson first came out with it quite a while back. I remember when I opened the bottle, it would smell of chocolate. With this current product, there is none of that wonderful smell and I wonder if the original product did not have all these other ingredients in it.? Other ingredients: Gelatin, rice flour, may contain one or both of the following: magnesium stearate, silica.

I use this occasionally for a small treat by dissolving it in my mouth together with a Xylitol mint for just a bit of chocolate-mint without any calories! I've not used it consistently enough to evaluate it otherwise...sorry!

I bought this item to try as a healthy alternative to a chocolate candy bar or other not so healthy chocolate food. My intention was to OPEN the capsule an pour it onto something fairly healthy. My first use was to empty the contents of the capsule onto an organic raspberry frozen bar. It turned out awesome. There was a hint of pure cocoa. I was so pleased. Right after I finish typing this, I am going to do it again! I got this item as a Buy One Get One Free, so a capsule cost only 2.5 cents. I feel that this is an extremely good alternative to having a chocolate candy bar. I had started to buy the 72% dark chocolate candy bars because the high percent is supposed to mean it is good for you. However, when I read the other ingredients, there was one that I should not eat. Now, for 2.5 cents I am ENTIRELY satisfied. I will eventually empty a capuse into yogurt, or maybe a couple capsules into an occassional cup of coffee. For 2.5 cents, or 5 cents if I use two, my chocolate craving will be satisfied AND I willl have the other health benefits the capsule is purported to provide! I thought I might be Frivolous in buying this item, but I am so Glad that I did! The capsule contents are not sweet, but give you the memory of that brown Hershey's cocoa tin of powder from years gone by. For me, just the momentary sensation makes me feel that I have not been deprived!

I'm a retired health pro. - take this for cacao's flavonoids = anti-ox., and avoid dairy & sugar of most choc. Take in am., since it technically may have stimulant properties. As always: Organic would be even better. I bought on BOGO sale - Yea.

I do like this!! I already love dark chocolate anyway, but two of these in the morning and I find myself drinking less coffee. Nice boost, without the jitters. Nice price too! Highly recommended!

If you want a good Cacao at a good price, this is it, I not only take the capsules, I open them and use 1 or 2 for cooking or on ice-cream

I've been taking this product for about six months now. I use it to help keep my blood pressure in a normal range. Raw cacao has many health benefits.While I am certainly capable of eating copious amounts of chocolate I'm so totally not into gaining copious amounts of weight. So, all of the benefits, none of the taste is the trade off for all of the benefits, none on my waist.

I take this daily and love it. On the days I make a banana smoothy I'll crack a couple of capsules and add that yummy chocolate taste to it. It has the benefits of feel-good chocolate without the calories! :)
