I started taking this supplement because I wanted to help with my menstrual cycle. I've been experiencing heavy cycles for 5-7 days with severe clotting. I started taking it prior to my menstrual cycle and and I noticed that when my cycle did begin it was light and remained light to medium throughout, not as heavy. I did not feel heavy when I had my cycle, I felt light and energetic! I have even noticed my libido increasing! My partner was pleasantly surprised. I will keep this in my rotation! I suggest that you will need to take this in the morning because this will keep you up all night and day if you are not careful. Especially for extremely hard and demanding jobs, this will help you stay alert, maintain clarity, and give you energy. I made the mistake and took this in the middle of the day with two cups of coffee and I was up all night! You may experience a slight headache. This will go away with time. Take this prior to having your cycle, you will appreciate it and thank me later.

The NOW brand really works. I tried it in the past, it worked, then I tried the Swanson brand, which is normally great, but in this product it's a disappointment. Same for my husband.

I have tried different brands of Maca over the past 13 years and this one ranks at the top for effectiveness, purity and you just can't beat their price for a good product. I use this one and have also ordered Swanson's other Maca product which works just as well, I have no complaints. I give myself a one week break after 3 weeks on. Maca has worked wonders for me and I keep coming back to Swanson.
