Fresh Sweet Corn - each

Horrible choice of produce - every part of these 2 ears of corn were parched as if lying in a desert for an afternoon. Corn inside way beyond feed corn. No green. No yellow. Dried brown husks, dried out immature nubbins of corn inside. Not on my table. I want my produce to be fresh, green & nutrient rich. Whoever pulled the order put all of the produce in the same plastic bag with 2 delicate, fresh peaches. With 2 lemons, one more than I ordered or paid for. I ordered one as well as a green pepper. The heavy corn & the lemons, of course, bruised & damaged the fresh peaches and bruising the green pepper too. I can salvage that because I am chopping it. Common sense is not common. If so, someone would be able to train team members to treat my purchased items as if they were their own or for their family table. I will continue to report these things so members can see the consequences that are a loss to Target as well as to me and of course to them. Please use these examples. We are empowering them with the good & nutrients in our food as well as our trust to care for our purchases. But the bottom line is this - once they pull the order, they are handling items that I plan to cook, eat, serve my family. They belong to me. Please treat my purchased items with the care they would want me to give to their purchases. Or those of their Motherz or Grabdmothers.

Several pieces of the fresh sweet corn I purchased on Friday 9/2 at the Lutz Lake Fern x Dale Mabry store were rotten. Found out just before our Labor Day picnic. No corn salad for us. Gross!

Picked 6 at the store for Mother’s Day weekend and they were great! I am surprised at how great flavor they had being not quite in season yet. Will be getting more over the summer!
