💜💛I had one in my sewing drawer for maybe years.Recently found out exactly what it was,I had to make up reasons to get at some staples to pull.It's perfect no reason for bad review.User failure:(!!!

My old faithful staple puller had the lip on top break off so I ordered this one and with a name-brand like Swingline, I thought it would be a good replacement. I was very wrong. the metal piece that needs to slide under a staple to remove it is so short it can barely remove a staple from just a couple sheets of paper. For the price, this is a huge disappointment. Save your money!

I purchased this item because a piece broke off of my old staple remover and I paid more because it was a Swingline product. Wow, was I disappointed. I don't understand the point of the slide-out piece and the metal piece is too short to effectively or easily remove staples. Such a disappointment!
