This backpack is a streamlined upgrade of SwissGear’s signature travel bags. Simply put, it is light – in appearance and construction. Yet, this does not make it any less reliable. The ruck features a roomy main compartment that it is padded to protect your gear; an organizer pocket for cell phones, cords, chargers, ID cards and pens; two side mesh pockets that can hold a water bottles of various dimensions; a laptop sleeve as well as an integrated tablet pouch. A: To clean backpack products, gently brush the soiled area with a cloth or a soft nylon-bristle brush. For more persistent stains, we recommend spot cleaning the soiled area using a mild soap and warm water along with a cloth and/or a soft nylon-bristle brush. Do not completely saturate the fabric and do not get onto the leather trim. Dry by dabbing with a clean, dry cloth then hang or lay flat to air dry. Do not dry with heat. Do not dry clean or clean/dry in an automated washer/dryer. Please do not use benzene or alcohol based cleaning products.

Bought this backpack for my 12 year old and didn’t even last 4 months. The first strap starting coming apart 4 months after purchase.. few months later the other strap starting coming off. I contacted Swiss gear and no response. Absolutely disappointed with this purchase.
They do not honor warranty - zippers break

Do not be fooled by their warranty as advertised. It took them 3.5 months, photos and multiple descriptions to finally get told if the zippers fail through "normal wear and tear" they aren't covered. Bait and switch warranty advertising. The bag was used by a elementary student as a regular booksack. Not abused or missused. Very disappointed in the product and their warranty process. They make it as painful and arduous as possible to prevent claims and then ultimately deny those who actually keep up with the requested follow-ups over months of more evidence being requested. Terrible customer service for an expensive product.

This backpack is actually horrible.Alright I'll admit, this was a hand me down, but that's no reason for it to be like this. Every single zipper was broken after less than a month of using it. Ps. About 2 we're broken when I got it from my mom.

This was supposed to be an exact replacement of a defective knapsack. My original one is much bigger, has more compartments, more padding, and RFID Pocket etc. this might be a great little knapsack for a schoolchild but not as a travel knapsack.

I have had this backpack for 9 years, I started using it in high school and is now my backpack for work. I work in the trades and have put it tru alot. And after 9 years it has finally gave out I would highly recommend this backpack to anyone, I will be buying another one.

My son uses this for high school. It seems to hold all his books and there are quite a few. He says it's comfortable and loves the style/features. It's working out well for him and he likes it a lot. So far so good. His old ones usually start to rip at the sewing points where the shoulder strap meets the bag at the top. Zipper starts to get mis-align to zip properly. The old buckles usually breaks too. His last one barely last a semester. Hope this Swiss lasts him longer than his previous ones.

My kid loves what he loves! He has had this backpack for the past 6 years but it started to show signs of breakdown. It was time to get another one but he couldn't find any that he likes as much. Excellent quality. I've been using it daily since 2016 for various life events. It still looks new and functions like the first day I purchased it. It spacious and holds items in various compartments. Highly recommend!
