My kids love this. Keeps the 5 and 7 year old occupied for long periods of time. After quickly showing them how, they are able to do it independently.

Our 5 year old loves princesses and castles and this foil art kit lets her make some lovely pieces. The pieces you punch out to decorate are of a sturdy foam construction. You then peel off the covering on the areas you want to decorate with a particular color and just by placing the foil paper over the piece and rubbing a bit, the color transfers to the sticky part you uncovered. You do have to instruct your child on a few things - 1) only peel off the part you want that particular color on. It will then just go on that spot and leave the rest of the piece alone. By doing this they really can create some lovely things. I had to teach her not to remove all the covering at one time. 2) Be careful when dealing with all the colored foil papers. There are a lot of them and if the child uncovers pieces to stick and then picks up several papers and gets them close to the cutout the foil quickly grabs hold and a color goes on they didn't want and now can't get off. I just had to teach our 5 year old to slow down. The only problem we had is that one of the colors (which just amounted to a few sheets) was not made properly and sticks but doesn't transfer color and actually pulls off part of the cutout when you pull it off. It is one of the glittery pinkish sheets. The kit comes with several canvases to make scenes on, if you choose to do so. Our 5 year old loves the princesses and wanted to play with them so we did not put those on the canvases as you can't remove things once you adhere them to the canvas. All in all, this is really a great kit which combines art with imaginative play. I would definately give this as a gift.

Neat creativity activity. Foil can get messy. My daughter has been very experimental with it and even design her nails with it. Cool product to increase artistic expression

Great item for the little artist in your household. Fun project kit with lots of stickers, foil and background pieces. Easy project to learn. Some of the foil colors don't seem to adhere as well as others, but it does not detract from the fun or finished project. Love the googles eyes included. Pretty much a mess free project guaranteed to keep kids busy for awhile. Would make a nice gift.

My 5 year old granddaughter loves it!

My kid loved having something creative and fun to work on while traveling. This had adhesive pieces that you remove and then using foil sheets you can color the pieces. Instructions are in the box and it's an easy learning curve for most kids. I would suggest having a little plastic bag for trash/paper as it can add up during travel. I put all the items in a file zip bag and took on the plan with me. It's a light weight and easy fun for the kids! Definite buy!

Mess free fun. We can't get enough of the foil crafts since they are so interesting and fun to create. The theme of this one is unicorns and is bright & sparkly. Makes a great addition to a gift basket for a little one about age 4 and up. You have to make sure you place the correct side of the foil down for it to adhere properly, but other than that super easy. Definitely recommend!

It is very well designed and made. It is a bit challenging for my 4 years old as you need to peel the top layer precisely to get the best result, but she soon decided she doesn't need to be that precise (e.g. okay to have the same color for the dress and the buttons on the dress).It triggers their creativity to decide which pattern goes to which background and where.My daughter has been play with it a few days and still interested in.

This is a perfect activity for playdate, especially with a larger group, for 5-7 year olds. It has 12 "scenes" or the boards and plenty of foil pieces and stickers as well as other goodies such as googly eyes to fill up all these scenes. My girls immediately used it to make up a story with their friends. It was really cute. Even better, it kept them occupied for over an hour.

This foil art kit is great for toddlers and kids. The box includes plenty of foil sheets and stickers, as well as background design pages. Our toddler required some help with foil placement, and really enjoyed decorating the canvas pages with the designed stickers. This is a simple but fun and easy art activity with limited mess. Nice product and giftable.

This is a great activity set for my daughter because she loves art and crafts! The foils are really nice and easy to stick with. It also comes with different backgrounds to choose from. My daughter likes it because she can basically make her own illustration based on her imagination. Definitely it's a fun project that she would enjoy doing every weekend!

my kid feels like she made stickers!

I got this kit for arts and crafts time with my daughter and she had an absolute blast making all sorts of different animals and scenery. I've never seen a kit like this before personally but I think it's very unique and very fun for the kids, definitely would give it a go if you're looking for something a little different.

Skill wise, this is a simpler art set than the paint by number projects. You essentially press the foil against the cut out silhouettes and then press these stickers against the canvas. There are 120+ foil sheets, 140+ foam stickers, 10 eyes and 12 canvases.However, your children may require more of your help on this project than they will on other art projects, especially when just getting started. The box suggests that this kit is for kids that are 4+, even though the picture of the box online suggests that it's 6+.

I love foil art crafts, and so do the 5 to 10 year old girls in my arts and crafts classes. This craft is so easy and the sparkly results are spectacular. This set has the prettiest background scenes of any similar craft I have used. The paper on the stickers easy to remove. They are nice and thick for easy handling. 120 foil sheets is a generous number for the 12 pictures.Helpful hint: encourage the kids to use the edges of the foil sheets as they create instead of the exact middle; this will make it easier for everyone to find good usable spaces for their stickers, especially if some colors are the favorites. This is good practice for sharing and not wasting resources, which we hope the kiddos will learn to apply all their lives.This seller has a lot of nice kits on their seller page - I have gotten a couple of them. My 7- and 4-year-old found these easy enough to do without help. It is a similar idea to leafing a project, but much easier. The kit comes with plenty of foil and it all worked well, except for one sheet that didn't release well. The kids loved creating their shiny objects and sticking them on the included background sheets.This kit is a lot of fun and will entertain your kids for a long time.
