I was concerned that it would topple over due to the height but it is balances well, as long as there is more weight at the bottom than the top. It's very sturdy with a set of 55lbs at the bottom, 45s at the middle, and 35s at the top. Definitely does its job as a storage, organizing my garage as I used to have the plates randomly sitting around. Materials are sturdy and well built. The plates and bar fit well in the designated places. Overall met my expectations and needs.

For the price, this thing should be solid AND secure. But it is not. If there is more weight on one side of the tree it severely leans... almost to the point where it looks like it will tip over or the bolts are about to break. (i'd include the picture I took but it doesn't look like theres an option for that). Support said "you have to keep it even on both sides"... but lets be real nobody at a gym focuses on keeping the weight exactly the same every time they're loading and unloading the weight... Thats some serious wishful thinking. This product might be okay for a small home gym where you aren't putting a lot of weights on it... but avoid buying if theres hundreds of pounds and there will be multiple people loading and unloading weights (aka a regular gym)... someone could seriously get hurt if it breaks or topples over.

This rack gets the job done, but leans one way or the other once the weight is on it. I don't see any way to tighten the bottom bolts enough so that this wouldn't happen. I guess is you have a welder? Anyway, the lean isn't a deal breaker, and it solves my needing a way to hold weight problem well for now.

The stand fits the plates and barbells great however, the stand rocks side to side when loaded. This appears to be from the two legs are held to the center cross brace by two bolts on both sides and the center bar is held off the floor slightly higher than the two support legs. My stand has the following bumper plates on it four 45lbs, two 35lbs, two 25lbs, two 15lbs & two 10lbs.

I ordered this plate tree with high hopes given it was more expensive than another one I planned to purchase, but was perpetually out of stock. Assembling the tree is not hard, but no matter how hard I tightened the bolts, the upright piece still wobbles. It doesn't appear to prevent it from functioning with weights on it, but if you try, it moves side to side. I even used a socket wrench to tighten the bolts. So much so that the metal began to bend. Four stars, would be five if it didn't wobble.

Not has sturdy as I hoped it would be. A lot of loose parts like the rubber ring bumper for the plates. Also the screws do not go all the way through to the post. The base does isn’t as sturdy as it may lean one to one side or another.

Very disappointed in the fit / finish and structural integrity of this rack. The threading all the way around is subpar. The length of the bolts holding the horizontal plate racks in place are too long (see photo). The structural integrity is the major concern. As you can see in the video, the vertical main post simply does not have a solid, rigid connection with the base. This main rack member should not be able to sway back and forth. There is no way I’d load this rack to its max rating. The only reason I’m not returning is the prospect of repacking and paying for return shipping.
