A: The brown chair is made of bonded leather.

The backing is made of leather scraps from tanneries. It is to quality leather what imitation crab meat is to seafood. Avoiding direct sunlight on bonded leather will preserve it's looks since direct light causes polyurethane to yellow and crack.

I purchased two navy blue wing back chairs. I am happy with the materials used to make these chairs. The style and color were perfect. As stated in other reviews these are firm seated chairs not a plush feeling seat. They came well packaged and only needed the legs attached.

Poor but wants style - 2 years ago
The chair is on the short and small side, so it’s not great as an everyday, sit and watch tv for while type of chair. I bought 2 and have the same issue on the back right leg- won’t stay tight and slowly spins loose. I bought the brown pleather and it’s deceptively darker in person; appearing almost black unless being lit by the sun. It’s a meh - cuter than it is comfy, and fit my budget.

Very disappointed the chair was hard to sit in and the back was too low to lean your head back. Nice fabric. Probably nice for an accent chair however not comfortable for every day.

This chair is exactly what I was looking for. It fits perfectly in my space. And it is the perfect chair to curl up in, however I’m only about 5ft tall. :). I would agree with the other reviews that the back is kind of low but that doesn’t bother me at all. I only gave it 4 stars bc the color isn’t as dark as it looked in the photos. I ordered Navy. It’s dark and definitely has navy hues in the thread/fabric but it’s not a solid navy as I thought but it still looks great.

I agree with some of the other reviews that say the chair is to firm. A good pillow helps with that a little though. Assembly was easy and only required screwing in the legs. I ordered the navy chair but the color looks like it’s more of a dark teal (it’s actually almost exactly the same color as some dark teal chairs I ordered from Target, which I returned because it wasn’t the exact color I wanted). The picture in my review is a navy blue pillowcase on top of the chair for color comparison. The teal in the chair doesn’t show up too well in the picture though but you can tell that there’s an obvious color difference. I’m hesitant to return it because the box was pretty awkwardly shaped but I think I’ll probably return it to the store.
