It always feels like we don't have enough of it but the reality is we all have the same 24 hours. I want to use my time well not just use it up. I loved this book. It gave me practical ways to not only use my time well but use it to it's fullest. This is not just a how-to book that offers a few pieces of useless and unproductive tips on how to "hack" your life. This book gives centered solutions on making real changes that help you dig deep down to what your purposes and priorities are. Then when time doesn't seem to be on your side, you know how to make the most of it based on what you have decided will fit your priorities and purposes. Take Back Your Time was really great in giving me guidance so I could pull out my purposes and priorities so that I can manage my time well. I can base my decisions of how I spend my time so that I am giving my best based on the things that really matter to me. I love that Morgan walks us down that path so that we can focus on things that matter. Being busy doesn't matter. Living fully does. There is so much more to this book and I definitely recommend this book because I am ready to take back my time. *I received a copy of this book from the publisher for my honest review and honestly, I loved this book. It was easy to consume and use the materials are super practical.

In this conversational but focused book, Morgan Tyree empathizes with women of all walks. From working moms to business women to stay-at-home moms, she understands the stress and struggles of time management. I’ve read business-based books before and found them helpful – to a point. What I loved about "Take Back Your Time" is that Tyree acknowledges and affirms all sorts of time constraints. She writes specifically to a broad audience and I felt seen in the pages of her book. Filled with easy-to-implement strategies and structures, Tyree gives her readers tools and resources to start their time management revolution right away. None of her ideas were so complex that I put them off for another day. They were all simple enough to start right away. She also reminds her readers that, like any habits, new structures will take time and tweaking. I loved that she recognizes that these aren’t systems that will be perfect right away – this is an ongoing practice. If you’re in a place in life where you see spaces of time where you know its being wasted or misused, this is the perfect book for you. Tyree will help you hone your hours and emerge with more space in your days. **I received a review copy from the publisher.**

Even the most robust organizers will need this book

It's rare that a book gives me more than a new spin on tried and true strategies that make life easier. However, Take Back Your Time, by Morgan Tyree, has me rethinking my priorities and gives me a deeper understanding of how to best use my time. As a note-taker, highlighter and To-Do list maker, Take Back your Time, is designed for my busy ISTJ brain. I love it and you will to! Take Back Your Time - Identify Your Priorities, Decrease Stress, and Increase Productivity, is nine chapters, plus an introduction and conclusion.  Each chapter begins with a quote and contains homework, thoughtful tips, and ends with a one to three sentence summary.  I enjoyed the idea of having homework. The accountability built in to the assignments inspired me to take my tasks seriously. I read this book from front to back and with the big picture in mind, will now go back and complete each homework assignment. Plus, this gives me an opportunity to go buy a new journal. :) Morgan writes with ease and shares just enough to make you want to sit down and have a larger discussion on the topic. GET YOU COPY TO BEST PREP YOUR TIME FOR THE HOLIDAYS!

Maybe you’ve heard enough about time management, and think one more book can’t be any different than what you’ve already read? Maybe you’ve tried goal setting and been overwhelmed by your list? Or, maybe you have extra time on your hands and don’t think you want to hear another reason why you need to be busy? Morgan Tyree yearns to help you embrace the season you’re in, with questions to process and worksheets to create self-awareness surrounding the things that occupy your days. Morgan Tyree is a professional organizer, writer, and fitness instructor. Her passion to inspire intentionality shines in Take Back Your Time. Take Back Your Time begins with a look at our accumulation of “stuff.” Morgan says, “Clutter is at the core of each and every one of our time management challenges.” But, the look at clutter goes beyond, to dig deeper into our purposes, in order to better line up with the priorities we most value. So, a book on time management just went past organizing, to evaluating lifestyles. As someone who struggles with paper clutter, I feel like Morgan talked me away from panic and gave me permission to breathe. Her tone resembles a pep talk and a reminder of the value of one person. One person can make a difference. One person can have the moxie needed to tackle tough assignments. And, one person can experience the wonderful sensation of a job accomplished. Yes, that person is you! Through setting up productive work spaces, setting aside time zones for optimal productivity, and advocating self-care, or restful activity, Morgan guides the reader to see time as a responsibility, privilege, and a gift. Take Back Your Time will help you realize your best self and equip you to make the most of your days! Lifesaver to Mom of 7

As a mom of seven, I hardly get time to brush my teeth, let alone read. But when I saw the description for Take Back Your Time by Morgan Tyree I was like WOAH. Hold up. I need to stop and make time to read this.  But how does one make time to read when one has NO TIME to read!? Well...there is a truth I've learned and it's this: We MAKE time for those things we think are important. My life had gotten majorly unmanageable. The house was a wreck (not to mention my spiritual life), my kids were on devices for way too many hours a day and I was exhausted with all the pressure mounting around my ears. Sound familiar? Take Back Your Time helps you focus on a few areas that immediately "clicked" for me including: Figuring out when I was most productive Figuring out what was actually necessary Understanding (and accepting) my life season (aka homeschooling 7 kids) Setting goals I could actually accomplish In order I realized: I am NOT a morning person. I'm a night owl. I don't have to always be ON all the time My house WILL probably be less "Pinterest-y" today than it will be in 10 years when I don't have toddlers dumping every single toy out of the boxes! I spent so much of my days hustling only to fall into bed feeling like a total loser because I didn't get everything done. And I had to realize that NO ONE on God's green earth would be able to do all the things I thought I had to do. Take Back Your Time guides you through PRACTICAL (not just theory, ya'll) steps...with fill-in-the-blank charts (I'm in love) to clear mental, emotional and physical clutter.

This book offers practical and Biblical tips on how to take back one of our most precious gifts: time. The book allows you to personalize the strategies and make them work for your life. In a world where quantity is better than quality, and the more busy you are the more "important" you are, this book is timely and very needed.

It seemed a little counter-intuitive to spend my precious little free time reading a book about how to save time, but I’m so glad I did! Tyree’s strategy of breaking down each day into three different parts so you can more easily manage your to do list in a stress relieving and life-giving manner is just straight up brilliant. I can easily see myself utilizing her terminology to help organize my days and be more productive. I’ve already seen some significant progress in my productivity while still finding more time to spend doing what I like. I found myself laughing from her humorous stories, and eagerly taking notes. I even decided to take up parkour again (a long forgotten passion of mine) because of the insight she shared. I’d strongly recommend this book, to all of you struggling to find a balance in your day and with your time. I know what it’s like to feel like you never have the time, but I can tell you this is a quality investment. Tyree will help you find the freedom you crave. Also, for all you guys out there, even though this book is geared towards women, and Tyree might refer to you as a “Lady”, don’t let it deter you from reading. This book is gold!

Morgan Tyree's TAKE BACK YOUR TIME is the most helpful book I've ever read and used to learn how to manage my life and my time. She leads the reader through determining priorities, logging time, learning about hi-energy periods of each day, and from there teaches the reader how to (based on those) effectively and peacefully schedule life. Also looks at personality type, calendars, and purposeful goal-setting so that the reader can put all this great info into practice. Simply the best time management system I've ever used, or seen!

She not only gives a strategic system to help us be intentional with our time, but she reminds of why: because time is a gift. She helps readers identify their purposes and priorities and reminds us to schedule our time accordingly. This is a book I’ll refer to over and over again.

As a mom to four littles, wife to one awesome dude, business owner and writer, I don’t have a lot of time. So finding time to read a book about finding more time was a stretch for me. Morgan Tyree made this read worth my time. This book lays out ways to break your day into “zones” to help manage and prioritize your day. This helps with identifying values, allocating time and clearing both physical and emotional clutter. Finding your most productive time, called the Green Zone, helps with focusing on the most important priority of your day and shifts energy to that time. Morgan’s productivity chart is awesome in this area. The second, or Yellow Zone, also focuses on priorities but is for tasks that require little attention to accomplish. This is my favorite zone! I get important things done quickly and get something checked off my list. I love feeling accomplished! Oh but wait. I like the Red Zone too because its my time to recharge my tank. I think I need an entire day devoted to the Red Zone. In all, I highly recommend the book.

One of my biggest issues is thinking that I never have enough time--there are not enough hours in the day for me to complete the "to-do list". Anyone else experience this problem? And it not only that I don't complete my daily tasks but there is never any time for me to recharge myself. Self-care seems selfish when my house and other responsibilities around me are falling apart. Would you believe me if I said there could be a way to complete all your daily tasks and actually have guilty free self-care time?? Well, it's true it can happen and Morgan Tyree explains this all in her book Take Back Your Time.  So whether you are a stay-at-home mom, work from home mom or if you work outside of your home this book has some great tips for everyone. There are even some tips for helping your children become more organized and manage their time wisely. Morgan uses some great techniques called "zones" each task will have a designated zone (green, yellow, or red). Not to mention the great worksheets that can help you to determine these zones and tasks to put in them. If you are looking for help in getting organzied and finding out that you have more time than you imagined then this book is for you!! I am so happy that I was able to read this book and I am working hard to determine which tasks of mine belong in which zone. **I received this book for free in exchange for my honest opinion. All opinions and thoughts are my own.**

Love this book! Take Back Your Time is a book that teaches readers to manage their time. Morgan Tyree has unique ideas that are easy to implement to align our time with our priorities. She gently walks the reader through processes to identify our "Time Zones" and how to be productive using this strategy. Personal stories are woven throughout the chapters to highlight practical examples of effectively managing our time. Considering our personalities and seasons of life is another aspect of time management that is incorporated into this book. She has created tools to assist us with working through our time management. As someone who tries to cram too much into a day and then feels depleted, I am thankful for a system to better organize my time. This is a great resource and would be beneficial for anyone looking to improve their time management skills. Enjoy!

On a scale of cotton candy to Brussels sprouts, Take Back Your Time by Morgan Tyree is a tray of ice cubes. Whether just water or juice, each cube plunges a glass of liquid into a refreshing temperature. (Copy received. Opinions my own.) Take Back Your Time breaks down how to identify priorities, decrease stress, and increase productivity. Morgan Tyree, in simple conversation form, offers a manageable way of taking stock of your life, work, and activities to make the most of your time. With simple questions, the author provides ways to determine your daily and weekly goals. The book also includes many worksheets and graphs for a foundation for your renewed productivity. As a goal setter, I love the idea of a book that can help me become even more efficient in my time management. I’m always looking for ways to improve. What I like about Take Back Your Time is that Morgan Tyree gives us language for our different types of time management. While I already do much of what she shared already, I like the intentionality of the system with traffic light colors and a plan. If you’re not much of a planner but you want to do better, Take Back Your Time is for you.

In Take Back Your Time, Morgan is helping with realizing that I don’t have to have it ALL figured out! It is so beneficial and important to live every day with margin AS I make goals and plans for the future. Time, when I think about it, is mostly lived in segments, and that’s what I’d like to focus on for a moment.

I said I’d never read another book about time management, but here I am recommending one. I finally have the free time I wished for when my kids were younger. It’s a wonderful position to be in until I realized I waste a lot of time. I thought I’d wrangled my time wasting tendencies until I set a personal deadline recently for a writing project. I needed help and Take Back Your Time delivered. I dove into the book with resistance at first, but quickly warmed up to the idea of learning how to manage my time. Morgan shares her personal journey in a relatable way and her wit and openness made it easy to read. She helped me find out my green, yellow, and red time zones, and gave me practical and insightful ways to match those zones with my goals, personalities, and seasons of life. She reminded me to be patient as I learn what works and what doesn’t. Self-care, multi-tasking, and calendars are covered in the book, and she made me pause and think about the gift and responsibility of time. We learn to manage our time well not only to serve ourselves, but serve others as well. “Goals should be self-serving and others-serving. This is where the true blessing of achieving your goals will be realized.” I appreciate the fun, concise, and direct way she encouraged me to take back my time!

So often I feel that I need more hours in my day to accomplish everything I want or feel I need to do. But I found a far more reasonable, far more achievable plan in Morgan Tyree's book, Take Back Your Time: Identify Your Priorities, Decrease Stress, and Increase Productivity. Take Back Your Time is more than just another book on time management, it is a guide filled with practical tips, tools, and applications to help readers become intentional about how they are using their time. The author uses a process that includes physical, mental, and emotional aspects of individuals, guidance to benefit the whole person. The tools and applications given allow each reader to create an intentional, realistic, yet simple plan to make the best use of their time, attain their goals, and live a life of joy and purpose. I very highly recommend Take Back Your Time. This book is well-written, and a must-read for everyone and anyone. I love that Take Back Your Time is written with consideration for the whole person, not just ideas for a longer to-do list. With advice on self-care, managing daily activities, to evaluating the quality of even the insignificant moments, readers will have the opportunity to not only complete the necessary tasks at hand, but have greater joy and peace instead of feeling overwhelmed. An excellent book with a treasure trove of wisdom for whatever season you find yourself! *I received an Advanced Reader's Copy of Take Back Your Time: Identify Your Priorities, Decrease Stress, and Increase Productivity from the publisher.
