It always feels like we don't have enough of it but the reality is we all have the same 24 hours. I want to use my time well not just use it up. I loved this book. It gave me practical ways to not only use my time well but use it to it's fullest. This is not just a how-to book that offers a few pieces of useless and unproductive tips on how to "hack" your life. This book gives centered solutions on making real changes that help you dig deep down to what your purposes and priorities are. Then when time doesn't seem to be on your side, you know how to make the most of it based on what you have decided will fit your priorities and purposes. Take Back Your Time was really great in giving me guidance so I could pull out my purposes and priorities so that I can manage my time well. I can base my decisions of how I spend my time so that I am giving my best based on the things that really matter to me. I love that Morgan walks us down that path so that we can focus on things that matter. Being busy doesn't matter. Living fully does. There is so much more to this book and I definitely recommend this book because I am ready to take back my time.

In this conversational but focused book, Morgan Tyree empathizes with women of all walks. From working moms to business women to stay-at-home moms, she understands the stress and struggles of time management.
I’ve read business-based books before and found them helpful – to a point. What I loved about "Take Back Your Time" is that Tyree acknowledges and affirms all sorts of time constraints. She writes specifically to a broad audience and I felt seen in the pages of her book.
Filled with easy-to-implement strategies and structures, Tyree gives her readers tools and resources to start their time management revolution right away. None of her ideas were so complex that I put them off for another day. They were all simple enough to start right away. She also reminds her readers that, like any habits, new structures will take time and tweaking. I loved that she recognizes that these aren’t systems that will be perfect right away – this is an ongoing practice.
If you’re in a place in life where you see spaces of time where you know its being wasted or misused, this is the perfect book for you. Tyree will help you hone your hours and emerge with more space in your days.

It's rare that a book gives me more than a new spin on tried and true strategies that make life easier. However, Take Back Your Time, by Morgan Tyree, has me rethinking my priorities and gives me a deeper understanding of how to best use my time.
As a note-taker, highlighter and To-Do list maker, Take Back your Time, is designed for my busy ISTJ brain. I love it and you will to!
Take Back Your Time - Identify Your Priorities, Decrease Stress, and Increase Productivity, is nine chapters, plus an introduction and conclusion. Each chapter begins with a quote and contains homework, thoughtful tips, and ends with a one to three sentence summary.
I enjoyed the idea of having homework. The accountability built in to the assignments inspired me to take my tasks seriously. I read this book from front to back and with the big picture in mind, will now go back and complete each homework assignment. Plus, this gives me an opportunity to go buy a new journal. :)

As a mom of seven, I hardly get time to brush my teeth, let alone read.
But when I saw the description for Take Back Your Time by Morgan Tyree I was like WOAH. Hold up. I need to stop and make time to read this.
But how does one make time to read when one has NO TIME to read!? Well...there is a truth I've learned and it's this: We MAKE time for those things we think are important.
My life had gotten majorly unmanageable. The house was a wreck (not to mention my spiritual life), my kids were on devices for way too many hours a day and I was exhausted with all the pressure mounting around my ears. Sound familiar?
Take Back Your Time helps you focus on a few areas that immediately "clicked" for me including:
Figuring out when I was most productive
Figuring out what was actually necessary
Understanding (and accepting) my life season (aka homeschooling 7 kids)

This book offers practical and Biblical tips on how to take back one of our most precious gifts: time. The book allows you to personalize the strategies and make them work for your life. In a world where quantity is better than quality, and the more busy you are the more "important" you are, this book is timely and very needed.
It seemed a little counter-intuitive to spend my precious little free time reading a book about how to save time, but I’m so glad I did!
Tyree’s strategy of breaking down each day into three different parts so you can more easily manage your to do list in a stress relieving and life-giving manner is just straight up brilliant. I can easily see myself utilizing her terminology to help organize my days and be more productive. I’ve already seen some significant progress in my productivity while still finding more time to spend doing what I like.
I found myself laughing from her humorous stories, and eagerly taking notes. I even decided to take up parkour again (a long forgotten passion of mine) because of the insight she shared.
I’d strongly recommend this book, to all of you struggling to find a balance in your day and with your time. I know what it’s like to feel like you never have the time, but I can tell you this is a quality investment. Tyree will help you find the freedom you crave.
Also, for all you guys out there, even though this book is geared towards women, and Tyree might refer to you as a “Lady”, don’t let it deter you from reading. This book is gold!
