OMG I LOVE THIS FLAVOR
Ok, im not gonna lie, but this is my actual favorite ice-cream since kindergarten. I used to not being able to find it cause no where near me selled this flavor. Because of that, Im ecstatic Talenti is now selling this flavor. Also, adding to this, the chocolate isnt too sweet with the raspberry which i love. Yet entirely the flavor isnt overpowering and actually tastes like raspberries. 😋 Thanks Talenti!

Bring the flake chocolate back!!
They have changed the chocolate thats in the ice cream and it no longer is what I love about it. Its chucks instead of flakes which was such a good texture.

Not the same
I used to love this flavor but the addition of Coconut Oil has changed the flavor and it much less raspberry tasting. The switch from flecks of chocolate to chunks is also a disappointment. I will not buy again.

Changed it and ruined it.
This flavor used to be sublime, but they've changed the chocolate shavings to chunky chips and ruined it. Doubt I'll get it anymore. I hate chunky things in my ice cream

This is and always will be my favorite Talenti. Just something about the taste of the raspberry and then... to have the chocolate chips come in to the mix and melt away; just at the right time. Yummy, yummy! So very delicious and satisfying.

Changed for the worse
The dark chocolate raspberry used to be my favorite treat. I had not had in a few months and decided to treat myself only to find it's now raspberry chocolate chip. Personally I think the change is awful. The large hard chunks are hard to bite into and flavor has changed completely. Not sure i will buy again. Not sure why they messed with perfection but it's ruined.

Ruined It
This flavor used to be my favorite of all time. It was a rich black raspberry flavor with these delicate dark chocolate flakes that would just melt in your mouth with every spoonful. There was a time I couldn't get it at my local grocery, so I would literally go out of my way to shop elsewhere. Especially on special occasions. Sadly, Talenti changed the recipe so now the black raspberry flavor is vague and less fruity. It's sweeter, and instead of chocolate flakes, it now has those big brick-shaped chunks that every other ice cream manufacturer uses. They don't melt in the mouth. They're just these brittle, hard objects that you have to crunch on and it ruins the experience for me. I'm very sad about this change, and I will no longer be buying Talenti.

Terrible Change!
Used to be amazing! But, they apparently changed the recipe and it completely ruined it. Once my favorite, I'm beyond disappointed in them! The texture is different, there's big chunks of chocolate sparsely throughout a mild ice cream that bears no resemblance to the original raspberry flavor. Will never buy again and it breaks my heart.

Missing Chocolate Chips
This is my favorite flavor, but today the container had NO chocolate chips! It was shocking as typically there are many chocolate chips adding to the delicious flavor.

Expect to be disappointed
I don't usually purchase Talenti, but I bought this because it was on sale and black raspberry is one of my favorite fruits. I don't see the purpose of calling this black raspberry flavor when all it tasted of was chocolate. Whatever the secondary flavor was, it was not black raspberry. I will not purchase again and was quite disappointed.

Devastated by recipe change

this flavor is the BEST talenti flavor. unfortunately they’ve switched from the delectable little chocolate shavings to massive frozen chocolate chips. it makes this flavor difficult to eat and sacrifices the lovely texture it used to have. i’d give the version with big chips 2/5, but the old one with small shavings was absolutely a 5/5. hope they switch back

This was my favorite ice cream ever! Which is why I’m giving it 5 stars. But a huge part of what made it so amazing were the tiny chocolate chips/shavings that you would get with every spoonful. Now they’ve changed it to big and way too crunchy chocolate chunks that you get to test the hardiness of your teeth on every now and then? Why would they make a change like that and ruin absolute perfection? Every time I go to the grocery store, I check to see if they’ve gone back to the original recipe, because I won’t buy it otherwise. So far, only disappointment. Talenti, please fix this!

Go back to smaller crushed crumbles!
I’ve been eating this flavor almost exclusively for many years and what made it so good is the shaved chocolate chips … crumbled veins of sweet but not too sweet chocolate evenly mixed in with the raspberry. Unfortunately the crumbles have been replaced with large jagged chunks. I miss the flaky crumbles and have snatched up every one I could find in grocery stores around town. Now all I can find is the larger chunks. I wish you would go back to the way they were.
