Talisman Designs ceramic butter keeper uses the French butter crock method to store fresh, easy-to-spread butter without refrigeration. Water in the base of the butter keeper creates an airtight seal for freshness. Store soft and spreadable butter on your countertop for up to 30 days! The butter keeper holds a full quarter stick of butter straight from the wrapper and accommodates both East and West coast butter sticks. Simply use the small cavity on the lid to measure and pour two cavities worth of water into the base. Place a stick of butter into the lid's large cavity and spread with a knife to evenly pack the butter. Place the lid inside the base to create an airtight seal for freshness. The Talisman Designs butter keeper is both microwave and dishwasher safe.
