Tangkula Saddle Stools Set of 4 31 Inch Counter Height Stools w/ PU Leather Woven Seat Brown

Very stylish and nice looking but I had some issues with the stools. First of all the seat part of the stool had mold underneath, secondly after assembling all of them I noticed 2 stools the foot rest part was higher than the other 2. I returned them and had to re-order. Second time the seat part of the stools again had some mold, not as much as the first order so I was able to clean them and it was fine. Still annoying though because it’s a new item and they’re not necessarily cheap. All the foot rest area matched at the same height thankfully! I noticed that not all 4 stools were shipped together so makes me think there’s 2 different foot rest heights and that’s why the first time I ordered I received a non matching pair. They’re very sturdy and nice looking though, easy to assemble. The “leather” part of the seat does not look like leather though it’s more plastic looking but I still like them. So if you order there’s a chance you might get mismatched foot rest areas and mold on the bottom of the seats. I took pictures of the mold so hopefully this review can help you out!! Overall I do like them it was just a hassle between the return and waiting for new ones and the mold

I'm one of those shoppers who has to read a ton of reviews before making a purchase. These stools didn't have any reviews but looked exactly like another set, different brand name, with many positive reviews. I was trying to match two existing bar stools and the wood color and black seat looked like it would work. Plus the sale price couldn't be beat! I'm so glad I decided to take a chance on a "no review" product. These stools are perfect for our bar height kitchen island and they tuck under the counter for storage when not in use. I didn't need backs on the stools as the purpose is for additional seating when we have visitors (just two of us empty nesters in the house full time) but did wonder how comfortable they'd be. I'm pleased to say that they are very comfortable, particularly with side bar that can be used as a foot rest. The wood is solid and looks rich and the artificial leather seating is strong and great quality, easy to clean. The pads on the bottom of the stool legs are a nice bonus. Visitors have commented on how comfortable the stools are. I did notice in taking photos for the review that on one of the four stools, the two longer foot rest bars are higher than the side bars (third photo, the stool on the right). Not sure if this is deliberate, as I can see the higher foot rest would work for a shorter person / child, or if this is a mistake/mismatched set. If deliberate, you'd think they'd have two of the higher foot rest stools and two of the lower foot rest stools in a four stool set. It doesn't bother me (clearly, since I just noticed it!) but worth noting if you are more concerned about a perfectly matching set. Time will tell how the seats will hold up (have only had the stools for a month) and whether the artificial leather will stretch a bit but for the price (on 50% "sale") these stools are well worth it and look like they cost must more. I am very pleased with this purchase.
