No quality control, holes do not line up, parts don't fit, wood not cut correctly, holes on the incorrect side... I can go on and on about the awful "craftsmanship" of this bed. The instructions are lacking, but anyone with basic skills with flat pack furniture should be able to figure it out. That was a non-issue for us. The problem lies in the lack of quality control. Pieces don't actually fit, properly or at all. Shelves are bent because they're all different lengths! This is probably the worst piece of furniture I've ever had the displeasure of assembling. What a waste of money and huge disappointment as this was a birthday gift for my daughter. No returns allowed only added the icing to the cake.
