Tess Side Table - Powell Company

I added this to my home office to put my printer on! I absolutely love the functionality of the piece and storage. This piece helps complete the space.

It was very easy to put together, and I get so many compliments every time someone visits. I love the storage space and the little drawer it comes with. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the mission style of this table. The drawers and pull out shelf are very handy. But, the color looks a bit different to me in real life than it did online. I ordered it to match some other furniture, but it looks more grey in the light than expected. In lower light it has darker brown tones. The table is sturdy and has a nice design, but the color is not as natural looking as I'd like.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Firstly, I want to talk about the assembly of this side table! It was a breeze! I can honestly say that I put this side table together in 30mins or less by myself! From unpacking to complete! The fact that the pegs were already preinstalled was wonderful! That saved a good amount of time! Really all you needed to do was screw/washer and tighten! Everything you need is included! I deducted a star because I was a bit disappointed with some of the imperfections that came on the table; scratches, rust and chips! Thankfully some of them arent too noticable! I love all the compartments options that you have and the extender piece, allowing you to have a bit more space! The material seems to be very sturdy! The color is a bit of a darker gray, so can be pretty universal! I do wish that it came with usb slots or some cord cutouts, would be super useful! But, all in all, I love the side table!

I really love this item! It's chunky but not too large. It has a ton of storage for it's size - magazine rack on back, open shelving and closed section as well as extra tray on top, I just love it. It's already full with all my trinkets beside of my couch. Now all it needs is a charger lol so happy with my purchase!

OMG this is just the most perfect little table. It's just the prettiest color teal, and it fits so nicely in my family room. so many different little storage places. i just love it!

For the price its an ok piece. The biggest problem I had was it looks a little cheap. It has cheap finishes and some pieces dont fit snug like finer pieces. That said, it is decent if you can get it on sale and I do like having some of the features in the design. I have assembled many pieces of furniture like this so assembly was not difficult, however I can see how folks who haven't before could have issues as the instructions put many minor steps into one-step illustration. This piece will do till i save up for the real deal.

The table is a nice piece when complete, but assembly is pretty tricky. Best to have a helper and some skills in assembly.

I loved the look of this piece, which is why I purchased it. Assembly is a nightmare. The schematic is tiny, and not helpful. Plan on at least 2 people to help, because it's mostly pegs instead of screws. Which means that as you add another piece, the entire thing shifts or twists and it falls apart. We spent 2 hrs and it's still not together. Also, the door does not fit properly. Fits great if you don't add the top of piece! I'll be returning mine, which is a shame because I really wanted it to work.

Instructions were not clear, pieces were either too loose or you couldn't get them together at all. Bottom piece was crushed in one section. Contacted the manufacturer per the instructions and was told that piece was back ordered for 12 weeks. They told me to just return it and order another one. I had ordered it online and feel like they should have shipped a new one and sent a return label. But they wouldn't do that so I had to take it back to the store. With such poor quality and customer service I just returned it.
