In 2008, Marcia Wilson began simultaneously writing a number of novels and short stories relating the stories of the Scotland Yard Inspectors who worked closely with Sherlock Holmes. Over the next few years, she completed a remarkably prodigious amount of work, revealing previously unknown and fascinating details about the lives of Inspectors Lestrade, Gregson, Bradstreet, and Hopkins, and their vastly interesting families and backgrounds.
