Meanwhile, Jennifer, the manager of Comfort Cottages works to keep everyone safe and out of trouble, which is no easy task when they take on the case of finding the killer of a young woman. To make matters worse, the killer hires two others to stop the aged sleuths, including Franklin who witnessed the murder. Then a mysterious notebook turns up and brings the group into more danger.
