The final volume in Richard Feltoe's wonderfully documented series of six books titled Upper Canada Preserved, War of 1812 has just been published by Dundurn Press. The Ashes of War examines the final months of fighting across the American-Canadian border that pitted British and Canadian troops and Native warriors...Richard's six volume collection sums up the events in a war we didn't start - nor did we lose.
This is a first-rate closing to a very popular series.
