With her parents' help, Avery learns about waiting and trusting for best answers, and the importance of relationships with the biological family of foster/adoptive siblings. Love and joy grow in Avery's heart when she becomes a Big Sister forever. Because sometimes, adoption is the best answer.

As foster parents we are given hours and hours of training before being licensed. Our kids are just as much a part of that journey, but there isn't any training for them. That is left up to us as parents. Since we have so many questions ourselves it can be hard to know what to say or how to answer their questions.
