No evidence is found of any of the missing people, but locals believe they were taken by the Boardwalk People.

Though they are told to stay near the house, Beth and her friend, Abby, can't help but be curious as they go out to learn more about these beings and discover more than just creatures of lore. The Boardwalk People are real, and thanks to an offshore drilling project disrupting their home, they are not happy and intend to let humanity know.
