Description

When scuffling WWII returnee Chuck Scott (Robert Cummings) fell into a chauffeur's job with sadistic Miami gangster Eddie Roman (Steve Cochrane), he became the shoulder to cry on for the thug's abused wife Lorna (Michèle Morgan). Scott made the dangerous move of fleeing with her to Havana... but their attempt at escape would meet with a series of truly unexpected twists. Distinctive film noir, adapted from a Cornell Woolrich novel by Philip Yordan, also stars Peter Lorre, Lloyd Corrigan, Jack Holt. 86 min.
