Review Quotes
SWOOSH! SLAP! CRASH! BANG! POP! And this book is off and running, and never lets up until the end! At first Sam seemed worried because, even though he and Alex had been on many missions before, this one seemed to be the most dangerous so far.

I think this is the best of the Alex Hunt books. I have loved all Urcelia Teixeira's books. She seems to intensive even more with each book.
One of my favorite authors and series.

A real page turner. From the beginning Teixeira keeps you riveted to your seat. Master writer at her best weaving modern romance with international intrigue to a lesson in history. Urcelia has again blended together these ingredients to produce the Dauphin Deception. Carefully narrated the reader can feel the sun on your face and the sound of danger in the foreground. Highly recommended read. A story you do not want to put down.

This was an edge of your seat story right from the first few paragraphs and it never let you go till the end !

Who knew Alex had become more than a Lara Croft! Once you start reading, you will have trouble putting it down. Great to see Sam becoming more part of Alex's life. These 2 are unstoppable.
Urcelia out did herself this time. I can not wait to see what is in stored for our 2 adventurers!!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is my first Alex Hunt adventure thriller and I am hooked for life. Further, anything related to Marie Antoinette and my interest is immediately triggered. I LOVED this book because it has mystery and action and was also an education for me about a possible alternate ending for little Louis the XVII besides dying tortured and alone in the Temple prison. The premise behind the book is compelling and thought provoking.

The writing is fast paced, engaging, with a touch of James Bond chaosity. This could be made into a great movie. This is the best book of the series.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As usual, the author gives me a great history lesson as well as a thrilling, suspenseful, action-packed heroine, Alex Hunt!
