Book Synopsis

Your guide for managing intense emotions, improving your relationships, and being the best version of you that you can be.

If you're a teen with borderline personality disorder (BPD), you may have intense emotions that get in the way of school, relationships, and reaching your goals. You may lash out at the people closest to you--your friends, family, or teachers--and feel crushing guilt about your behavior when the heat of the moment has passed. And you may even struggle with suicidal thoughts or self-harm. You are not alone, and there is help.

Grounded in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), the gold standard for treating BPD and emotion dysregulation, this just-for-teens workbook offers evidence-based tools to help you find emotional balance, improve your communication with others, and reach your fullest potential.

You'll discover how the core skills of DBT can help you stay grounded in the moment, even when your emotions are running high. You'll also learn to see yourself more clearly, with empathy and self-compassion. And finally, you'll find tons of worksheets and hands-on exercises to help you practice what you've learned out in the real world.

Let this teen-friendly workbook help you:

  • Work through difficult thoughts and feelings
  • Get along with family and friends
  • Improve your confidence and self-worth
  • Reach your goals and thrive!
