About the Book

When DNA from the Shroud of Turin is stolen, sequenced, and cloned, a Vatican conspiracy unleashes something monstrous.

Book Synopsis

A stolen Shroud-of-Turin DNA sample ignites a Vatican conspiracy, a secret cloning experiment, and a chain of events far darker than science was ever meant to touch.

When relic DNA is sequenced and weaponized, the result is neither miracle nor progress, but something monstrous - a being with the face of Renaissance Christ and the black, cloven hooves of something older and more terrifying.

From the Vatican to Venice, from Istanbul to Hong Kong, The Deus Deceptor races through secret archives, shadow networks, elite power structures, and forbidden science in a thriller where history, faith, deception, and biotechnology collide.

But this is not a sanitized conspiracy puzzle.

It is a dark, intelligent, psychologically charged thriller about power, corruption, religious symbolism, institutional secrecy, and the terrifying consequences of crossing ancient belief with modern ambition.

Inspired by real locations, real history, and a decades-long fascination with the Shroud of Turin, The Deus Deceptor asks a question few thrillers dare to ask:

What if the most dangerous lie was hidden inside the thing the world most wanted to believe?

For fans of Dan Brown, James Rollins, and Raymond Khoury - darker, smarter, and far more dangerous.

Content advisory: THE DEUS DECEPTOR contains graphic violence, religious themes, and mature content. Intended for adult readers.

Review Quotes

"WOW! Something truly unique and terrifying!" (S. Dang)

"A complex, multi-layered story, blending an ancient evil with modern day science. An intensely satisfying read that will stay with you! (K. Li)

"There were moments where I had to pause and just think about what I read, which I actually love when a book can do that to me !" (Tbell)

"This book was so detailed that everything just played out in my head like watching a movie. If you like a supernatural twist on religion then check this out." (Jess)

"I will say this book is graphic in parts, so if you are sensitive to violence or darker content, just be aware of that going into it. But if you like books that are intense, thought provoking, and a little unsettling, this one is going to pull you in." (T. Bell)

"Equal Parts Dan Brown and Cormac McCarthy - If they collaborated on a novel about the end of sacred meaning. Genuinely unlike anything I have read in recent years." (ARC Reader London, England)

This book messed with my brain in the best way possible.

Deus Deceptor feels intelligent without trying too hard, and unsettling without relying on cheap twists. The tension builds slowly but intentionally, and by the end I found myself replaying earlier scenes realizing how carefully things had been constructed from the start.

I especially loved that the book respected the reader enough not to over-explain everything. It leaves room for interpretation, which made the experience even more immersive for me.

Definitely recommend for readers who like psychological depth, layered storytelling, and books that linger in your head after you finish them. 5 stars Good reads / Utopian Princess

Great book that takes the reader on a journey across space and time. Recommended! 5 stars on GoodReads Tony B

This book is deliciously naughty... It goes after the big institutions including religion but not in a preachy way but through the eyes and experiences of its very human and often inhumane characters... I REALLY hope someone makes this into a movie! 5 STARS GoodReads / Mr. Bui

My only disappointment is that there is not a sequel yet... I binged read this book in a weekend and I want to know what happens next now that the New World Order has arrived.

5 STARS GoodReads / Loc Van

Wow! a must read 👏 five stars 🌟 GoodReads / Benjamin Foster

I love this book! Much Darker and Sexier than Dan Brown or Steven King but much of the same qualities. Touched all my hot buttons on several levels, plus looks controversial on my coffee table when people come over and ask me what it is about. Great conversation starter... Five stars ! GoodReads / Tracy
