Diet culture calendar
3 out of 5 stars

I had last year’s version. As a calendar, it’s great. Some of the quotes are marker-felt calligraphy cringe of the girl-boss variety but aside from that it has everything I want: smooth spiral binding, a pocket, a place marker, lots of space to write (I could live without the stickers). My issue is with some of the stuff in ‘resources’ section. Some of the resources are helpful and there are useful reminders. Others reinforce pretty hardcore diet culture behavior. They assume your goals are all workout related. Skip the office donuts and buy a sports bra as a reward (ooh, how fun), don’t eat cake. This is silly. Please DO eat cake! Cake is a part of life that helps us celebrate milestones and achievements. Cake offers social and comfort benefits that you will not receive from a protein shake. Plus it’s objectively more tasty.
Excellent planner!
