About the Author

Gene Rizzo (Philadelphia) has performed and written music in all styles and categories for more than forty years. He is currently Professor of Piano at Beaver College. He is also the author of the books The Professional Solo Pianist: Techniques for the Self-Contained Performance of Jazz and Popular Music and Accompaying the Jazz/Pop Vocalist: A Practical Guide for Pianists, both published by Hal Leonard Corporation.
