[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was unable to wear this gilded clip because it didn’t fit my hair. I have a thick head of locs but it is extremely beautiful and durable. I think if you have looser hair or finer hair then this will fit you perfectly.

they have this at dollar tree, it might not be the same at your local dollar tree but i suggest checking if you dont want to spend fifteen dollars on a clip..

BUT, I was surprised by how well it worked and how comfortable it was, despite being overkill compared to what kind of claw clip I would usually use. It is real metal and surprisingly heavy, but had a strong hinge and a great grip. The only thing I didn’t like is how visible to spring is from all angles. Maybe that’s the trade off to have it work so well but I definitely didn’t love the look of the spring.

This claw clip is an over-sized, gold-colored clip that is lightweight. It holds all my hair in place when I put it back and although it looks heavy and could be considered a jumbo clip, it does not slide down or loosen when holding hair in place. The vibe is definitely summery for this clip but I can see myself accessorizing with it throughout each season. It looks effortless!
