About the Author

Beth Garrod is a bestselling young adult and middle-grade author, and an award-winning TV and digital producer and writer. Beth has lived in the UK, Canada, and the US, helping create BAFTA and Bologna Ragazzi winning content, shows and campaigns for brands including BBC Radio 1, Comic Relief, MTV, and CBBC. Specializing in using music and entertainment to create content that celebrates and empowers young people, most recently she has produced award-nominated youth social impact documentaries and dramas in South Africa and India. Beth lives in London and is currently developing and writing a BFI-backed pilot with Jess for a TV comedy drama about girls in tech. Her favorite inflatable is anything with a snack-holder.

Chris Danger is no stranger to having fun in the sun! He grew up in Hawaii where he got his PhD in water-based shenanigans. Aside from goofing around in the ocean with his friends, Chris also loves to draw and create fun books for kids. He lives in Portland, Oregon, with his girlfriend, Eva; their dog, Louie; and their cats, Freyja and Yoko (the real life Paws and Claws.)

Jess Hitchman is a children's author, screenwriter, and digital product consultant. She has built products and led strategy for youth and entertainment brands including Radio 1, XFM, MTV and Nickelodeon. At BBC Children's, she led the vision for some of the UK's most loved kids' apps, including the BAFTA-nominated CBBC Buzz and Cbeebies Playtime Island. As a side project, Jess set up Oops Yay, a digital play studio. Her educational apps for preschoolers have been featured by Apple all over the world. Her favorite inflatable is anything that someone else blows up.
