I purchased this Sunday New York Times crossword puzzle book for my husband who loves to do the difficult crossword puzzles. These books are his favorite because it is entertaining and he likes the wordplay. The spiral binding is an good for keeping the book open. They are a little too hard for me so I get the same puzzle book but the much easier Mondays. The book is made of good paper - no smearing. There are 50 puzzles in the book so it keeps one entertained for quite a while
