Description
Inspired by true events, THE REVENANT is an epic story of survival and transformation on the American frontier. graphic scenes
It's rated "R" f. some graphic scenes / language, so not f. children or the squeamish. That being said -- after I got thru the slow intro, it kept my attention throughout. Includes some little-known Native American history. A must-see for Leo fans!

Leo fans and anyone that LOVES Western/Drama Movies this is a MUST HAVE
I first saw this in theaters and I was so anxious to get it when it came out in stores. Perfect thing was I didn't know what to get my dad for Father's Day and he is a die hard John Wayne fan. This was a PERFECT fit for him, semi western/war drama totally up his alley!! Can't get enough of this movie!!

A movie you can sink your teeth into!
Teeth and claws are definitely part of this movie, but the strong story set in a beautiful but dangerous wilderness is what will make you want to see it again. The acting is great, the pacing is perfect. It can be very intense which might be difficult for any younger than the tweens. The Revenant is one of just a few movies I will buy this year.

Leo pulls anoter one off!
It has a slow start but it still very entertaining. Good graphics and story line. I wouldn't let my kids watch it due to some gruesome parts.

Great delivery
Target did a great job on delivery. The movie was on sale in the ads but when ordered online it was $2 more. I still bought it and to my surprise a few days later Target refunded the difference on their own.

Amazing
Saw in the theater 3 times, but nothing is better than being able to rewind, freeze and watch in the comfort of my own home with my children. Whom I think this movie was super educational for them. In the theater, people judged for bringing my ten year old and 11 year old sons, saying this was too much for them. I disagree. If spongebob and Patrick running around acting like fools is what you prefer to take your kids to then good for you. But as a Native American and loving mother, This movie was a super powerful lesson on History, trust, betrayal, kindness, survival, endurance, and appreciation to all Earths Gifts, from a kind gesture to a dead horse that saves him, to the trees and their comparison to man. Love love loved it!!
