Bought as a gift, but casing...
I bought this DVD as a gift so I haven't viewed it, but one thing to be critiqued is the cheap case it comes in. It felt like a bootleg movie, but that's my only complaint.

BE READY TO BE INFECTED WITH THE ZOMBIE ADDICTION!
This show is fantastic and now to be able to watch them any time and go back to see things you may have missed is fantastic! Love the bonus features with goes in depth. This is great for the casual walking dead fan who wants a little extra. But for "die" hards definitely check out the SPECIAL EDITION. It will be well worth the extra money

The best show ever
[...] Honestly i dont think i wouuld have a tv if it werent for the walking dead. I dont know what i would do with myself if this show didnt exsist. This show is the best show out there and if you havent seen season 2 be prepared for a few heartbreaking deaaths and a few deaths most of america or whoever watched it cheered for. Lets just say season 2 is awesome. This last part is to anyone involved with the making of the show. You should either have morgan find you guys or give us an indication morgan and dwayne are still alive and i dont like the fact glen is isolating maggie. People need to work together not shut them out. But other than that i love this show soosoososoosososososoososos much.

Walking Dead Season 1 Review
Though only 6 episodes, season 1 of The Walking Dead is jam packed with intense action and emotion that keeps you on your toes the entire time. If you haven't seen the show at all, you are definitely missing out. The DVD also comes with bonus features and behinds the scenes footage that shows how much work is put into this incredible show.

Great Series
I was recommended to watch this series from a friend, and although I am not the BIGGEST zombie fan, I watched it anyway. I was stunned at what a compelling story of survival and teamwork it is. That is mixed in with blood and guts and a whole lot of zombies too. Great action, fun to watch with friends, and it will scare the be-jesus out of you!

Great series, I want MORE!!!
I have heard alot about this series but never been too "into zombies". Picked this up because it was cheap and was delighted with the production and emotional ties I have made with the characters on the series. Very nicely done AMC!!Wish the first season was more then 6 episodes, my only complaint.

You get the whole 1st season...that's six 1 hour episodes at 9.99...WOWWW....I watch it every night with my wife and let me tell you its the best especially before going to bed.

A well done zombie survival show
This is an amazingly well done show. The overall feel for it is quite spooky and they must have put a ton of cash into this show. The only thing that detracts from a 5-star rating is that the season was quite short. But, I suppose I'll just have to wait until next season.

The best tv series in a while!
The Walking Dead is one of the greatest television series I have ever watched! The special effects, the makeup, dialogue...everything is so perfectly pieced together. The characters really hook you in with their different stories. The action is excellently executed, thrilling and suspenseful but not too scary! I can't get enough of this show, and am SO ready for season two!!!

Best Dead Stories Ever!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am not a huge fan of the stories about the walking dead, but this series blew me away. There is not only a great plot line, and subplot but the stories are character driven with real people and realistic situations. That is if the world were to become populated by walking dead. Most of the story centers around a former police officer, his best friend, his wife, and child. I won't say more, spoilers and all of that. My only complaint is that there were only 6 episodes. I found myself wanting more after watching these stories. I highly encourage anyone who wants good solid entertainment, to purchase this set.

The Walking Dead (1st Season)
The only reason that I did not give this series a 5 star review is that there are only 6 episodes. I loved the series! It keeps your attention the entire time and keeps you on your seat. I cannot wait til the second season comes out on DVD. Awesome show!
