I like the light blue lid one better…I used to use the aveeno brand but a sister is broke these days. I tried the light blue lid one loved it repurchased several times never disappointed- so then I saw the dark blue lid one and thought OHHH it’s gonna be even more like the aveeno…hmm not quite what I was expecting I think the light blue lid one works better with my skin..this dark blue lid one caused more irritation and the hair grows back more coarse

Buy in store, not shipping or drive up/pick up. Over handling tends to break the cap so please buy in store and pick a good can instead of blaming employees As far as the item goes, it’s really nice. I love the price for such good ingredients

This is the only shaving cream that my husband will use, everything else breaks him out

The nozzle is awful. I've tried this item more than once. Everytime the nozzle breaks and the rest of the product is wasted

My hubby had been using a much more expensive shave gel prior to trying this one. He actually says this is better & it is much less expensive! Great texture, no weird ingredients that don’t dissolve

I generally try to save a few pennies and go with store brand items. This Target branded dupe of Aveeno leaves a lot to be desired. It foams up amazingly and very little goes a long way but it just doesn't stay "wet" long enough to brush/comb your hair or beard for styling and creates a tacky/sticky feel to your skin making shaving seemingly impossible. The Aveeno version of this stays wet and very fluid giving you ample time to style, shave, re-comb, etc.

I was introduced to the Aveeno version of this shave gel about a year ago after struggling with razor burn on my legs. I loved it so much, but I love to save money where I can so I am always willing to try the generic when available! This up & up version is a great generic version, & it compares enough that I have now repurchased the generic version twice. It is slightly thicker than the brand-name, but I kind of like that about it! I (33 female) use this as my go-to shave gel in the shower for everything (legs, underarms, etc.) … and I haven’t really struggled with razor burn since. The bottles don’t rust in the shower, & I feel like I go through these bottles much slower than other types of shaving gel. It gave it 4 stars, but I would also give the name-brand version the same ranking.

While the shave cream performs like it’s comparable name brand, it doesn’t smell anything like it. The colloidal oatmeal was misleading as I was expecting a similar scent to Aveeno, but instead it smells like baby powder. I’m sensitive to smells, so I probably wouldn’t purchase it again, but it does prevent bumps so I would recommend to anyone not bothered by the smell.

Not the same as Aveeno. Contains fragrance.

I really like the gel. However I’ve had two of these in the last two years… and both leaked gel out the side of the gasket underneath the press button piece. After two uses it’s now basically empty and unusable. I wish that would be fixed.

I use this now instead of Aveeno’s shave gel. Foams up well and doesn’t irritate my skin.
