The chocolate flavor is rich, the creamy center is a nice surprise, and it doesn’t have that weird aftertaste some bars do. It feels more like a treat than a protein bar. It’s got 15g of protein, just 1g of sugar, and it’s gluten-free—so I don’t feel guilty grabbing one when I’m in a rush or need something after the gym. My only minor complaint is it’s a bit sweeter than I’d like, but if you have a sweet tooth, you’ll probably love it. Definitely a go-to when I want something quick, filling, and satisfying.

My family is very picky when it comes to breakfast bars, and my youngest one doesn’t even like them. We put one of these in his lunchbox as a treat and he was asking for me to buy more! I was lured in by the prospect of this even tasting remotely like it was even in the same room as a cupcake, but it is awful. We passed it around our office and we all it agree it tastes like SOAP! Dreadful.

I did like that it has a lot of protein but it was not enjoyable. The texture was also like your standard protein bar, maybe this could be softer next time. The packing is good and eye catching.

The texture was pretty good for a protein bar and the flavor was very close to the original, but definitely more protein rich. I had these as a pre workout snack and they worked great

Each bar has 15 grams of protein, 24 grams of carbs, 3 grams of fiber, 12 grams sugar alcohol, and 220 calories, so the macros aren't spectacular. These bars don't remind me much of Hostess Cupcakes, but they have a rich chocolately flavor. The texture is somewhat dense, and there is a distinctive soy protein isolate/whey protein isolate taste. I plan to refrigerate my remaining bars to enhance the flavor in warm weather and keep them from melting. Overall, these are a nice snack with a beverage, maybe mid-day or after a workout.

For a protein bar with only 1g of sugar they are surprisingly sweet and chocolatey. The kids love them! They do not have the protein chalk texture that some of the other protein bars have. They are delicious and filling. I will be buying more.
