Thinx for All Period Underwear - Super Absorbency - Black Briefs

Even sizing up, they dig into your skin and have seriously thick and uneven itchy seams. It is so thick it leaves bad indentions and impossible to wear. How anyone can wear these at all much less to bed is beyond me. They work for absorbency but so uncomfortable I have only worn them three times in a year. Tried stretching them out even more after washing and it doesn’t help. The front also doesn’t come up high enough to give full coverage to avoid leaks.

I love these undies and I think that they are really great they fit nice and they aren’t super uncomfortable. They do show more than a pad so i recommend using them with very loose pants. But they have great coverage and they are leak proof. One thing that I will say is they are not the best for ladies like me with abnormally large blood clots or someone who mostly has blood clots on their period. Other than that very good thought out product.

I wish I had bought five pairs when they first came out. Instead, I only bought two. I tried them out for a few months and they were great. They got the job done and held up in the wash. So, I decided to buy two more. And the quality had already declined. I understand that manufacturers eventually start cutting corners and making products worse. But, I've never witnessed SUCH a speedy decline

The material of these are so comfortable! Very absorbent and odorless. I would love a boxer/boyshort fit

You feel like you’re wearing a diaper! Definitely not what I was expecting and very uncomfortable.

I ordered these for my teen who is a size 2. The size small what gaping at the waist and way too big.

I wore these overnight and through the day on day 1 - heaviest flow. Overnight, no leaking whatsoever ever. They are a little bit thicker than regular underwear but similar to wearing a pad. Pleasantly surprised that there isn’t any of the “bunching” that can sometimes happen with pads and cause leaks. Sufficient coverage up backside. During the day, no leaking. Cleaning: I rinsed them out in the shower. Definitely recommend doing this if wearing on a heavy flow day! I’ve also worn these underwear when my flow was nearly nothing and they worked great! I didn’t rinse after wearing and just threw them in the washer. Overall - Great for overnight, whether first day or any other day! Good for first day/heavy flow. Also fabulous as a backup when wearing tampons if concerned about leaking. Cons: Keeping track of how many times you wear them. They’re recommended for 30 uses. And also remembering to NOT to put them in the dryer after washing. Overall, great option!

I got these because I was worried about bleed through from extremely heavy periods. These have surpassed my expectations by a lot. I wanted to mostly wear them at night. But I can honestly say they are as comfortable as regular underwear. I can wear them all day and night comfortably. I don’t even feel like I’m wearing period panties. They hold a truly shocking amount of liquid before there is any bleed through. And even though the issues with my periods are resolved now I’m still using them. And as for fit I always wear an XL Aerie boybrief and the XL thinx briefs fit almost exactly the same. Just slightly tighter around the legs, but that helps with leaking. I have already gotten more pairs and can say I honestly love them. They give me so much peace of mind because I don’t need to worry about leaking during my period.

I love these. They are so comfy! A lot of people I know think of it as using a giant diaper or something, but it is so different. It feels like wearing regular underwear. Best decision I ever made when it comes to my period was deciding to give these a try. They did not disappoint.

I have had these for about six months, and have not had a single problem with them. If you are following the washing directions, these should last you quite a while. I have not had any problems with leaking, and I am a heavy bleeder. I was skeptical at first wearing these at night, but after six months, I can honestly say that these are great for overnight use. They feel like regular underwear, just a bit thicker. I love how these help me feel a little more normal during Aunt Flo’s visit. They feel secure and they stay in place all day. I am extremely happy with this product and have recommended to so many friends. I can see what some people are saying about the odor, just make sure that you are rinsing them really well at the end of the day, and that shouldn’t be an issue.

The small was too large in the legs. I am 4'10" and 112 pounds. The leg opening was too large and there was a gap. I needed to sew a dart to close the gap. I would like Thinx to make an XS.

Sadly these didn’t live up to the hype. They were fine while standing up but the moment I sat down they leaked in both the front and the back. Awful.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I’m a heavy flower. I tried it without a pad or tampon and there’s no leak or smell! It’s not even damp. Wow!!! I need 20 pairs

I bought these to use during a miscarriage and was impressed. I had no issue with leaking, I never felt uncomfortable wearing them. I’m not sure about the comments saying there’s an odor.. I washed mine before use and they never had an odor. Obviously they are bulkier than normal underwear, but only in the “pad” part. Great purchase coming from someone who only uses tampons.

Really don’t like how no matter what it’s like a size 2 pad just in underwear. If u have a heavy flow get ready for it to show on your pants

Very comfortable, I like the material they made these. I was able to do a full Zumba class on my heaviest day while wearing these without any leakage AND they easily stayed in place better than my regular underwear! I bought more of them! Also, so happy that period underwear exist now. I have young daughters, so I'm glad they'll have more options for when they are newer to periods in the future.

No idea why there are low-starred reviews. Coming from thirty years of using three different absorbency pads and tampons on a rotation and having to rush to the restroom to make sure no leakage happened in lighter denim or skirts, this style of period collection is a game changer. After buying 7 pairs, I save about $100-200 a year on organic pads and tampons. I’ve worked 8 hour shifts with no issues, slept all night with no issues (I use thinx sleep shorts from their website as it has a higher absorbency). On days I want to wear tight fitting shorts or pants I wear the satin mesh pair I own with a tampon. I’ve even ditched the tampon before leaving work, knowing that even with a full flow I’d be ok commuting home. There’s no smell as in a pad collecting blood smell. I just wash it in the laundry machine with darks on the cold setting with a dash of scent booster and fabric softener, then hang dry. It’s a phenomenal product. No more embarrassing emergency trips to the bathroom to dispose of a pad and change it out ( especially when at a friends house, a party, a concert)… you get the idea. It’s so much better for the environment too. 💚

Wow I love these. I bought this pair and the period proof brand and these are so much better for a light to medium day. The other ones I wake up feeling like my back is wet. The cotton really helps the comfort level. I’m buying more. I usually use these with tampons on heavy days and at night but they’re a game changer.
