I regret paying full price for this book. It is very poorly written (misspellings, etc). Many cringey moments and constant brand name mentions. I did not feel like this was a "playbook" for working in the fashion industry.

Disappointed by this book. The claim that she is 100% self-made seemed disingenuous when coupled with the description of her fancy childhood neighborhood/sleepaway camp and not having to pay her rent when she was starting out. Those stories wouldn't have bothered me if there were fewer claims of how she came from nothing. Also, the brand-name dropping ("sitting on my Timothy Oulton couch") sounded like she was either bragging or like the book was sponsored. Rubbed me the wrong way.

This book is very poorly written. I was surprised by the amount of spelling and grammatical errors. I also didn't like the focus on being rich and the constant mentions of brand names. Disappointing.
