Thomas's is one of many big bread companies intentionally adding sesame to formerly sesame free products so they don't have to comply with the new sesame allergen guidelines. Two million Americans have sesame allergies, but the number affected by this is far greater because entire households avoid sesame products, so it's at least 4-6 million people who can no longer purchase Thomas's plain bagels.

THEY WERE BURNT!!!!! who wants a burt bagel. Not just one but all of them in the package were completely blackened on the top. This made them taste disgusting and bland because all the flavor was cooked out. I strongly suggest this is fixed immediately!

I thought these were just ok. They were thick, which I enjoyed. However, it just had a very basic taste. It actually to me was almost too floury tasting. These do not taste the way I remember growing up. The recipe definitely has changed, and not in a good way. Good price though.

Maybe it’s because I hadn’t gotten these in a few years but the ones I just got are not how I remember them. Obviously they aren’t going to be like from a bakery but they used to have some chewiness and texture to them. Now they taste no different than a slice of white toast, while there should be some chewiness. They’re okay but if this is now how they are made, I guess I need to find a new store bought bagel.

There was a dead bug inside one of my bagels. I keep the bag tightly closed and just got this bag a couple days ago so I’m not sure what happened here. I’m trying so hard not to vomit right now, thank GOD I saw it before I bit it.
