Awdry, made up to accompany this wonderful toy were first published in 1945. He continued to create new adventures and characters until 1972 when he retired from writing. Two Year Old Loves It!
My Thomas the Train loving 2 year old requests two of these books to be read before bed every night. He is able to say the story with me because we read them so often and they are short enough for him to remember. Green Train, Blue Train incorporates rhyming into the story, similar to a Dr Suess book. The little books are sturdy and the perfect size for my toddlers hands. Highly recommend for any toddler Thomas fans

Wonderful for 2-3 years old
The books are of small size and may not be that much fun for older kids but they are definitely a hit to my 2.5 years Thomas fan. He can't be apart with his little book case. He enjoys looking at the colorful book at bed time too. It's a good buy for him for $5.
