Absolutely ridiculous delivery and return process
My Target order arrived like THIS — the box of Ticonderoga pencils was completely open and the pencils were dumped loose all over the shipping box. These are school supplies! I ordered a new product, and I expect it to arrive new, intact, and in its packaging, not looking like it was thrown around a warehouse. What makes this even more frustrating is Target’s solution. There was no simple option for a refund or replacement for an obviously damaged item. Instead, I’m expected to either drive to Target to return something that was damaged during shipping, OR package it back up, print a return label, and mail it back. Why am I being inconvenienced to fix a fulfillment/shipping problem that I didn’t cause? For an inexpensive box of pencils that arrived visibly damaged, Target should be able to look at the photo and issue a refund or replacement. Making a customer spend their time, gas, packaging, and effort returning a damaged item is ridiculous. Very disappointed with both the condition of my order and how Target handles damaged deliveries.

These are the ONLY pencils I will ever buy! The quality is unmatched … so much so, that I throw away any other wood pencil my kids come home from school with. I buy big boxes of these to give to my kids teachers a couple of times throughout the school year.
