Be aware that, for most cats, you have to go through a whole process of 'transitioning' your cat to the new system which involves keeping your old litter box next to the Breeze system and possibly having to add poop from the old litter to the Breeze box. Based on other reviews this isn't a foolproof process. This is information that would have been helpful to have before ordering.

Never go back to regular litter!

These pads hold the urine and odor like no other! With 3 cats in the house, you would never know! The pads slip out easily from the tray and hold more than any other pad replacement. I’ve tried the cheaper replacements and nothing compares! Don’t waste your time with other systems! Breeze boxes are such a time and lifesaver! While the cats DO track some of the pellets out of the box, they are easy to sweep up and dispose of! The odor of poop is very strong, and not covered completely by litter so I suggest scooping it out immediately after they go so the odor is minimal. But as for the smell of urine?it is non existent! I have three boxes. Two regular sized and one xl size. My cats switched over to them immediately and seem to know when I’ve cleaned them. Because they come over almost instantly to christen it. Lol overall I would highly recommend this system and pad!

I'm awfully surprised how much cleaner this liter box is compared to my old scooping clay traditional liter box. I wouldn't go six days without changing the pee pad underneath, but more like every three days. Although the new liter will last a week and the best thing of all is the cat doesn't track this liter through the house anymore. Good buy to keep things fresh and clean.

My kitten tends to think the pellets are food. It’s near impossible to mix normal litter into the system to acclimate your cat. The “grid system” is difficult to clean. I’m just switching to a normal litter box and clumping litter. I suppose it would be function if your cat recognizes that the pellets are not ,in fact, treats. I did like the pee pad integrated into the bottom. For me, it just didn’t work and I don’t want any accidentally ingestion. I may try to integrate it again when she’s older.

The best system! I tell everyone I know about this. So easy to keep clean. Love the flip back hood. No more scooping through dusty clay or lifting heavy, messy clumps of litter!! Very little to no tracking. Wish we had switched a long time ago! We use kiln-dried pine pellets instead of the Breeze pellets as they seem to be more environmentally friendly and cat seems to prefer. Be aware that the hooded box is a bit on the small side, which is great for my space limitations, and my small cat. If your cat is on the larger side, consider the large multi-cat box instead, which, unfortunately does not come with a hood. Wish list: It would be great to have environmentally friendly liners as an option. Net cost difference vs. clay litter: Probably a slightly bigger upfront cost here. But, because you don’t have to replace the litter as often, there is a nice cost savings over time.

OMG! When I read the reviews that's what sold me on this particular cat litter box, and all I can say is; I'll never go back to the regular ones, ever! There's no more urine smell because the urine goes straight into the under tray that has a diaper pad and holds so much and kills the smell. It's true you'll need to wait a day or 2 before you remove the feces because when it dries all the pellets will just fall off and save you from having to add or renew any sooner. When they say it'll last a month, it's no joke. I've had it for 3 weeks not an it looks like the day I took it out of the bag. I bought a second one and it's so nice not to smell any order! One thing I was worried about is that my 3 cats are tubbies and maybe the box wouldn't be big enough but, this box is perfect for them all. I bought the ones with the total covers and the top cover just slides over, so there's no disassembling half the box just to clean it. It's really a no effort clean, once a week I remove the pad and put another one, and the waste bag is so small it's not a project to clean. I used to dread having to clean the litter boxes but, this product I so appreciate. Thank you!

My husband and I love Tidy Cats Breeze Litter System. When brand new I coated each piece of the litter box with a fiberglass protector to make it even easier to wash when needed. The litter does have to be completely changed from time to time.

Works fine. This is the first litter box I have ever owned so I have nothing with which to compare. It does seem expensive since in essence it is basically a plastic bin with slots.

Took my kitties 5 days to switch from the clay litter box to this one, which was a surprise. All I did was follow the suggestion they gave and it worked. It’s great for the urine/ammonia smell which is nonexistent BUT it does nothing for the poo smell. It reeks and there’s nothing to cover the smell, it takes days for it to “dehydrate” so I have to try and scoop the pop once they go so it doesn’t stink up the house...also have 2 cats so will have to change out the pads every couple days which will get pretty expensive over time. My little one played with the pellets and I find them all over the house but they’re easier to pick up than clay littler all over.

The system was easy to put together. However, I ended up returning the product because once I put the pellets in the box, my kitten thought he could eat them and that the pellets were toys for him.
