Q: Why is this in plastic packaging? I’d love to try it but can’t get past the giant plastic jug. If so lightweight you can hold with one finger, a thick paper bag should be adequate.

i like the light weight and it doesnt have much dust. i cannot do heavy litter. i like the unscented and it masks cat's ammonia smell. it doesnt clump very well with large spots of urine, it will just sift apart and it's frustrating. it also tracks a lot. but the light weight is why i keep buying it

I really hate the formula change. At first I just thought it was a color change. But it's not. Odor control tanked. Clumping is not good and leaves a muddy sticky mess stuck to the litter box even with frequent scooping. When a clump is captured in the scoop, it disintegrates so fast it contaminates the dry litter and seems like an ammonia factory. To avoid odor accumulation one would need to use an unslotted scoop and just waste anything loose or just empty the entire box in the trash then clean it thoroughly with bleach and soapy water before refilling - OFTEN. One cat has decided to use the floor instead of the box, it's so repulsive. This formula defeats the entire purpose. Please change it back
