Q: Since this is glass why does it specify to only spot or wipe clean and not say it can be immersed in water. Can it be used for fresh flowers with water inside of it?

Really happy with the Hearth and Hand with Magnolia amber brown jug vase, loved so much I bought 2 of the large size! The deep brown amber color is beautiful. Although the brown colors vary I was able to find two that matched pretty well. They are well made and heavy. I have them beautifully displayed and ready for fall on my fireplace mantel.

The quality of this vase is nice but the color is not amber. It looks amber in the picture but in person I would say it looks much more like a brown glass with an almost purple undertone. So if you’re actually looking for an amber vase this isn’t it. Hopefully this will save you some time. It’s also a miracle it made it to me in one piece seeing as how target takes almost no care when packaging items for shipping. It arrived wrapped in a single piece of brown paper, loose in a large box with other items that arrived broken and shattered.

Incorrect size labeling
The jar marked as 14” is actually more like 20”. The jar marked as 9” is actually more like 14”. I got the larger one and it was too big for my needs, so I exchanged for the smaller one and it looks great!
