This stuff is so good, it's addicting! I buy it by the pack and eat it straight. I love the pepper flavor, reminds me of the deli meat I ate before becoming vegetarian. Great protein boost as a quick snack or on a sandwich.

Sometimes I take peppered tofurkey slices, pickles, garlic aioli and roll it all up together. I cannot think of a better standing in your pajamas at midnight snack. I never liked sandwich “meats” until I met tofurkey.

I went vegan years ago and haven’t looked back, but I was occasionally missing just a good homemade deli meat sandwich. Enter, tofurky. I’ve loved many of their products but this sliced deli meat is a staple. Subtle enough flavor that you Can add a variety of toppings to create any type of sandwich you like.

This is a great substitute for a gyro sandwich! It may be too peppery for some people’s taste, but I enjoyed it. Now, you’re not going to slice this up for a charcuterie board and expect no one to know the difference, but it’s a great choice for a sandwich with good toppings. Probably not for you if you want something to throw between two slices of Wonder Bread with a slab of butter and not know the difference. Very solid amount of protein for a meatless substitute.

I loved this, yes there is a pepper taste but I don’t think it’s overwhelming at all. Ive missed the ease of deli meat and being able to make quick snacks with it and this is such a good alternative. Will definitely buy again.

The taste was definitely not what I was expecting. The pepper taste was overwhelming I had to throw the pack away. Not for me.
