Uses proven clinically effective in the treatment of most athlete's foot (tinea pedis) and ringworm (tinea corporis), helps prevent most athlete's foot with daily use, for effective relief of itching, burning and crackingDirections
Directions wash affected area and dry thoroughly, apply a thin layer over affected area twice daily (morning and night), supervise children in the use of this product, for athlete's foot: pay special attention to spaces between the toes, wear well-fitting, ventilated shoes and change shoes and socks at least once daily, use daily for 4 weeks; if condition persists longer, ask a doctor, to prevent athlete's foot, apply once or twice daily (morning and/or night), this product is not effective on the scalp or nailsOther information

Q: Can I use this product for my fungal acne on my face. Or do I have to use something else.

While tolnaftate is effective against the specific yeast (Malassezia) that causes fungal acne, the product is formulated for tougher skin areas like the feet and groin. The new product does not work at all. Target has missed the opportunity of haveinf a medical breakthrough under their belt. Im a barber and My clients and myself suffered from neck and beard bumps and rashes. The original product worked better than 200.00 prescription products. I tried the new formula and it sinply does not work. TARGET PLEASE GO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL FORMULA. If someone thats reading this has the power to forward this to the board of directors then they should do it. Go back to old formula. New formula is horrible.

Changed the formula and consistency and it is honestly terrible and doesn’t work as well. The smell is actually also horrendous. DO NOT BUY THIS. Hopefully they change the formula back one day.

The previous version of this was great, but they changed it, presumably going with a cheaper vendor and it's awful. The change away from the narrow tipped applicator makes it harder to apply. It stinks (very chemical smell, kind of reminds me of band aids). It also doesn't work as well. I'm not sure if that's due to the cream it's mixed with (it feels like the previous version kind of hung around on the skin longer, maybe?), but it's just not as effective.

I can’t speak for how effective it is because it smells so bad I had to wash it off immediately. Smells like burnt rubber and the smell lingers even after washing it off.
